About

This site is named after our 2000 Itasca Spirit 24v, which we’ve dubbed Serenity. The name comes from the TV show Firefly of which we are fans. Serenity is the name of a space ship in the show. It serves as the home of the characters and plays a major role. We thought it was a fitting tribute to name our RV after that ship.

Since this site’s inception, we haven’t done too much traveling and not nearly enough writing. We changed focus to make the site more inclusive of our family life in general. Please join us in our little adventures with our family.
